Tom Gilmore (born 1953) is a Los Angeles, California real estate developer. His successful efforts to transform historic buildings into residential properties have been credited with sparking "a tidal wave of housing developments" in Downtown Los Angeles.[1] Gilmore received the 2006 "City Rebuilder Award" from the Los Angeles chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the Donald J. Trump Award from the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors.[2][3] He is the Chief Executive of Gilmore Associates, a company which pursues redevelopment of real estate.[4]Gilmore is also an owner of JAST LLC, which operates Cicada Restaurant, and a manager of Vibiana, which is operated by Old Church LLC.
